I just got off the phone with my wife, who is living seperate from me. I really don't understand her. I was really confident on the phone (plan A'ing) and we talked about movies etc. She is supposed to come down tomorrow to hang out. But she also wants to look for a chair for the house to replace one we have. I told her she can just take the current chair if she needs one for her apartment but she insisted that since "we've always talked about getting one for the house, we should go ahead and do it."

This is odd since we are currently seperated, why does she want to buy a new chair? She even told me she wanted a divorce this week, after she got mad at me for talking to her friend about our situation.

My wife then asked what I was doing tonight, which I told her that I was going to a dinner party with some friends. I wanted to make sound like I actually did have a life. I guess maybe she's jealous in a way, as she said she wasn't feeling well from going out alot this week and was just going to stay at home and watch movies. I told her she could call me if she needed to talk with me or if she was bored.

She then said that she had been really sad the last couple of days. I didn't want to talk about anything negative and didn't dwell on it. I assume she is still set on the divorce but sometimes I'm not sure. I've remained calm every time I've talked to her but the things WS say are so confusing.

Some people just don't get it, they don't get it that they don't get it.

I had the right to remain silent.......but I didn't have the ability.

Hang in there Tim; my WS is sending the same signals to me. Be there for her as support, but don't get needy or clingy; you are doing the right thing right now.

She needs to realize how alone she is without you, and when she gets together with you; give her EVERY REASON to want to come back to you - in other words, be her "prince charming" while you hang out, and then let her move back on her own alone - she will want to come back again; and the relationship will begin to build from there.

Keep depositing those Love Units, and don't give her any LBs and before you know if - God willing - she will be all over you again =)
