Last week youngest daughter and I spent a week visiting two of the places that we use to live. It was a vacation, loved seeing people that use to be so important in my life. Being in the military friends get to mean alot when family isn't close by.

Anyways keep in touch with these people thru christmas cards and e mails. This was the first visit. X has not kept in touch at all, and some of these people were friends from his job and such. It was interesting how aghast these people were when told the whole story, they asked as I don't tell it much anymore and didn't tell it in the christmas card, said that this is what happened and x moved. Someone did make the comment that they liked how I had handled that. One of his closet friends while stationed there said that she was totally blown away that the man that she was friends with and worked for would have done this. I truly believe in WAT's alien theory!!!!!

People seemed to feel more sorry for him then me, said that I was the stronger of the two of us and that they were so pleased for me and the strength that I had come out with.

Just interesting how people react, it's been almost 3 years since the D, but it still blows me away. Just thought that I would share as maybe someone out there at this point is wondering how friends will react, I never wanted anyone to think badly of x in the beginning I wanted to protect him! Stupid I know, now!


I don't always realize how well I am doing til it is pointed out to me, now I just got to find a date!!!!
