Thank you Shattered for suggesting that Chris may be able to shed some light on my problem.
Chris-I was told that you may be able to help me. My husband has just come back from visiting the OW, about 1500 miles, and announced that he will be moving down there with her. I am crushed. Suggestions? I have two children, who will also be affected by this move.
Sorry folks. Went out of town for a few days.
Kate,
My Wife did exactly the same thing. He left town just before Christmas. My Wife took a trip to see an old girlfriend in Feb. Came home a week later & said she was moving out to the other side of the country. Found out a few weeks later she moved in with him. I also have two children. Daughters 14 & 8.
Crushed? Absolutely!
I don’t know what you can do to get him to change his mind. Tell him he doesn’t have to move & that you don’t want him to. Do it without lovebusters. Just let him know.
If he still insists on it, then you & he together must tell the children what is going to happen. Reassure them it is not their fault. Can’t tell them that enough. It’s okay if the kids see you cry. They need to know you’re human & have feelings. Don’t slam Dad to the kids.
------------------
Prayers & God Bless!
Chris
For relationship info check out www.pcisys.net/~chriscal1/resources.html
