I'm married for 13 years with 3 sons. We were in on & off relationship. And this is the 3rd time, we were separated for 3 years already. He is coming back again and vocal about reconciliation. Divorce is not implemented in my country.
During our 1st year of separation, I'm fine. I guess, the feeling of betrayal is not new to me. He didn't leave us, I kick him out our house. Then, last quarter of last year, he constantly trying to communicate with me and telling me, he will going to change for our family. He told me that he never forget me and our kids. I developed frequent depression, that's why I'm into counselling.
The problem is, He is still living in with his mistress (she's the one why we got into separation). I was sick and tired of our relationship then. I was tired of him acting as if he doesn't have responsibility with us, as his family.
I love my family, I love watching my kids happy when they are playing with their dad.
I've told him that I knew all about his affair (he never admit it in the past). If he is really wants to come back to us, he should make his choice. I cannot live with him anymore if he still living with his mistress. There's a negotiation on how long is he going to leave his mistress. 3 MONTHS!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Too late for me to know this website.
My question to all hubbys out there... is it really hard leaving your live-in partner of 3 years?

Actually, I'm losing hope to restore this marriage, it seems that this is "mission impossible". I've told him to stay where he is, with her. I felt like, I don't wamnt to wait for 3 months, this thing is killing me.
Is he normal? He had issue about his mom... his mom leave them for another man when he was 9years old.

Help!

This is a difficult time. I'm glad to hear your in counseling. Could he/she give you some antidepressents. It will probably really help. Read this site, old posts, and get surviving an affair and after the affair to read over. I'll be thinking of you.

I'm new in this forum. And i am in exactly the same problem of course different circumstance. I am glad that i am not alone in this.

I am still living with my H, we have a 10 year old son. we had a short separation last dec, really short 3 days. during that time, i really wanted out so i was preparing for that, but he asked me and my son to come back saying that we will work it out. During that time, i found out that the reason he wanted to separate was that he had a girlfriend. he asked for forgiveness, but you see this was his second. to make it short i forgave him, we are back together and now, i just found out that he has another girlfriend.

I asked about it but he is denying it (of course). but in the process, he is starting to be very verbally abusive.

I am tired of the promises. i am tired of the heartache. am really thinking of making it permanent this time, but i don't have a full-time job.

I hope you can work it out. Am in the process of thinking of my next step. I hope you can also help me with how i should do this.

thanks.

have a great day! - idel
