DD and I went to a local music festival yesterday. They had many bands playing and you could just drop in and listen. We sat down and listened to a bluegrass band play. Now, I generally don't listen to that kind of music but it really struck me. I suppose Country music is perfect for BS. Cheating seems to be a central theme.
Anyway, the chorus I can't get out of my head is:
[color:"blue"] Ashes of love, cold as ice. You did the deed. I payed the price. Ashes of love, there is no doubt. The flame of our love has gone out. [color:"blue"] I have no idea who wrote the song or when but it sure took a hold of me.
Grapes are versatile. Grapes can be sour, sweet, sublime as wine and fabulous even when old and dried out.
Me: BS XCH: Clueless 2-DS: Bigger than me 1-DD: Now also bigger than me!
5/6: Personally served CH with divorce papers 6/6: CH F? wants to time to see if M can be saved 7/6: FCH reenters our lives to work on marriage but secretly signs papers to start divorce...what's that about? Mediation set for November Final dissolution in January 2007. 2008 and beyond: Life goes on...

Grape,
That is "Ashes of Love" by the Desert Rose Band. You can look up country music lyrics at cowboylyrics.com.

Thanks. I'd never heard it before. I usually don't do cowboy music even though there's a ton of ranch in my family.
I'll look it up. Like I say, the lyrics really struck me.
