This morning, I had to pick up an elderly lady to take her to church, so as I went around the block, guess who we saw driving down the street. It was my wife. And with her was some other man ! We've lived here for 7 yrs and have the same circle of friends, but I have no idea who this guy was!<BR>I guess its one of her secret friends from work.<BR>My head has been spinning all day. I'm not sure what to do. I guess it could be innocent, but couldn't she take a girlfriend or go with a couple to church? Why does it have to be a guy? What gives ?

W just called, said the other guy was the husband of the friend she was to go to dinner with. She wants to go for a walk now and talk some more. <BR>I will post later if my head is still on straight.

Just got back from talk with w. It went okay! The man I saw her with was a friend from work and he is married. His wife was staying home with their sick child.<BR>W and I discussed our views as to the problems in the marriage. She admitted to having low self esteem which caused her to be unhappy and angry. I am a conflict avoider and I didn't know how to deal with her anger.<BR>She is taking zoloff and is considering professional counseling for the self esteem problem.<BR>I plan on making concentrated effort to improve on my communication skills and resist avoiding conflict.<BR>There are other issues,but these seem to be the worse.<BR>She is willing to go to joint counseling and I am too. The last thing she said was that it looks like we have solved as much as we can with out counseling of some type.<BR>She leaving town for a few days to sort things out some more. I'm leaving Tues. for staff meetings so we won't talk till later next week when I get back.
