Hi ...ok since my last post, the awkwardness in the house has become unbearable. What I mean is that we're avoiding each other..going to the gym after work..anything to fill in the time and basically just heading home and going to bed (in separate rooms). Last night he showed up at my bedroom door and said why don't I move out! I said I don't want to move out...he said why don't you just go to your parents and there won't be anymore awkwardness! Remember I have a child...he said many mean and hurtful things to me, so I packed a few bags and left with my daughter.
Since he came back from a visit with his family, he is like a changed man...he seems hell-bent on leaving our marriage. I don't know what's got into him. He says he feels let down my me because we're unable to move east for another few years. I've asked him to be patient and work with me, but he isn't prepared to. He said he has become very resentful of me...that explains his anger and extremely bad temper, critical nature..
So after staying overnight at my parents, I got an e-mail from him this morning saying he's going to the Bank next week and tidying up the house for us to sell it!
I'm in such shock, I feel as though the rug has been pulled out from under me. It's like he's had a personality transplant.
On the other hand, he has spent a lot of time over the past few years criticizing me, blaming me, yelling at me, calling me names, etc. Only in the past year have I stood up to him because his parents told me I needed to. Unfortunately, he didn't like that and became like a bulldog who wouldn't let go when I spoke back to him. So, maybe this is a blessing...because I know in my heart that I'm a good person, whereas although he may be a good person, he's going to go on in his life and ruin another woman's life because a 'leopard never loses it's spots"...isn't that what they say...
He knows he carries the blame for the hurtful things he's said and done, but continues to do them...how do I deal with someone like that.
