Hey Dorry-

I am doing well and things are going well here too. We have our ups and downs (as is expected--thank goodness for the roller coaster analogy I have read about here), but there are fewer of them. And, the down moments are less often. We both have our triggers, naturally. Focusing on the positive as was suggested in one of your posts.

I told my H I loved him (which was scary for me-- I felt vulnerable as he has not said this to me in about 5 months--> while he was in his A). He said he was feeling the same way, though he did not actually say the words,"I love you." It was nice to hear.

I feel like we are two battered soldiers with wounds all over (some self-inflicted) and the biggest ones in our hearts. I vacillate between the pain/shame/anger of what I did and then, of what he did. No one ever said this was going to be easy.

Aww - that makes me happy to hear Things sure get complicated where there are A's on each side - don't they

((((HUGS)))

Improving, my H has yet to say ILY but says "you know I do". Close but I still want to hear it. Glad you are doing better though.

My H reminds me he loves me everyday and that he is happy I am home and we are trying.

I still want to hear an I'm sorry - I haven't heard those words for specifically his A and for leaving...but I can tell in the things he does, and the things he says that he is sorry. So I have learned that will be good enough for me - listening to him say I'm sorry in his own little way...

I waited 3 months to hear I love you again and be touched it's nice to finally have it.
