Hi Dorry! Was surprised to see my name, LOL Well the last few days have been rough but I am hanging in there. I can see directly the effect of no time together. I am hopeful this weekend with DD gone we will be honeymooning again. Thanks for asking!

Good to see you happy again.

Yeah - time apart hurts progress sometimes. Sprint and I don't get as much time together as possible - but he is so focused on life getting back to normal and the future, that so far so good...

Where's DD going - what do you and H have planned?

DD is going to San Diego with her aunt and uncle. H and I have nothing planned but it is good bonding time to watch movies that can't be watched with DD around, eat what WE like and just hang with DS.

WHooohoo - sounds like a great weekend - does aunt and uncle want to take my kids too? LOL - I don't think we have ever had a weekend free of kids. That is one of our future - to do lists - we want to have time JUST us for more than a few hours lol

Dorry, the big one will be when Aunt and Uncle come to stay at our house for a couple days so we can go somewhere with NO kids. Can't remember the last time we were away from both of 'em. DS is so good though that it's ok hanging with him.

that's like my DS too - he's so easy when it's just him...as bad as it sounds, it's one of the ups to him being mental disabled...if he can do his own thing, and it's just us- he is so easy....if he is around others, or we are out...it's a whole OTHER story lol

bob, I know you have a heart for my lil sweetie. I actually complimented H the other day for being so much better with DS. It is finally becoming natural for them to have more interaction and you can see the sincerity from H. So steps in the right direction for sure.

Dorry, I KWYM. DS is so easy at home and sometimes when we are out, but he makes family outings more challenging to say the least. He is my cuddle bug though.

LOL my DS is my cuddle bug too - And H is coming around He has accepted he is not normal, and listens to the things I tell him, but still doesn't want to read up on it on his own. He has asked me if it's something important that I just tell him. Makes me sad, as I would love for him to learn somethings on his own, but atleast he is accepted things.
