Would be interested to hear people's input on this one.
There is something bizarre going on at my workplace, and it seems everyone knows about it but the betrayed wife.
The husband has been having an affair with a woman in another department. They've been "caught" several times and it's obvious to everyone what's going on, except the betrayed wife, who works in yet another department.
Some people are really mad at the two who are having the affair - it's hurting workplace relations, putting people who know the wife in an awkward position. But, no one wants to get involved or "rat" on them. So, the wife goes on unaware (as far as I know).
I try not to discuss it or pass rumors, to keep things on a business level, to stay out of it. And yet, I feel bad for the wife, whom I know only slightly, have talked to at parties, etc., sad for their marriage and kids, and certain it will end with all of them getting badly hurt.
Is there anything an innocent bystander can do?
