Have I ever told you that whenever I read your name, I always think of the movie
Dead and Loving It
My mind does wander off......

Whew
I saw my name...and I thought ... Oh Lord, what I have done/said now!
I don't think that I have seen that movie. I am not even sure that I would know the cast of players either.
Your name brings to mind <swoon> [color:"blue"] The Beatles [/color] <swoon>.
Gotta love that Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
And..no, I don't believe you ever told me that before.

It's a hilarious spoof on all the Dracula movies.

Just looked it up...
Now, I remember it. It's like one of those Naked Gun Spoofs by Leslie Nielson.
I swear, I don't know how they make those movies without cracking up. It must be take after take til they can do it without laughing.

I remember some "political incorrectness" in that Movie...and I had some serious explaining to do to the Son.

You signed on here about the same time I did; but I've forgotten your story...
Would you share a recap?

Recap...
Let's see. My brother is hcii....he joined and told me about the site. I joined a few months after he did.
I haven't "shared" by story per se. It just comes out in dribs and drabs as I post to others.
I find others living the life that I used to live, the only difference is that I did not ask for advice from others, nor did I tell anyone about it. I carried it close to the chest, if you will.
I dared not tell others about it because everyday that I stayed was a choice. To tell others would give confirmation that I was NUTZ!..lol So, I didn't tell. I didn't have any excuses for staying and I knew that. For some reason I stayed in it until I had knew that staying in it was worse than leaving it...so I left. In the midst of the divorce, my first H was killed in an accident.
My second marriage was the pole opposite of my first. We met each other's needs before I even knew what "meeting needs" was all about. He died 3 years ago after a routine back surgery. He suffered a heart attack from pneumonia.
I am not married...but very much "committed" to the man in my life. First and foremost, I am committed to ME.
Hope this little bit sheds some light on me.

Now I remember...I thought you were related to someone here. But I don't think I knew that you had lost 2 husbands.
How terrible...but it sounds like you've have had personal recovery from your situations. Thank you for the update.

Did someone call? LOL
I'm very glad to have her as a Sis too! As a matter of fact, I'm happy and glad to have all SIX sisters! Nope...no brothers...But...that lets me be the one that is spoiled and babied...LOL
Ya know...I think that Sis and I come from a family that most would envy...Even extended to our extended families and other relatives. We always were close. I can't think of a single time where any of us were mad at the other. Oh sure...there were disagreements, but we always could agree to disagree. Not once did anything ever change the love and respect that we carried for each other. We were, and still are "family". Never have ANY of us gone any amount of time without speaking to one another.
There wasn't a lot of " I love you's", hugging, kissing, etc., but none was needed...We always KNEW...
...We always knew...
hcii
Dumped the old sig line....I have a NEW life now!

.But...that lets me be the one that is spoiled and babied...LOL Well...it's about time that you named it and claimed it.

Always...it was never doubted.
I can remember when I was in college...and living in the dorm. I would call home every weekend. Before I would hang up the phone I would tell Daddy "I Love You Daddy"....and the first time I did that...there was silence on his end. He took a couple of seconds and replied back with "Same to you".
I didn't need to hear the word love to know that it was true...the "same to you" was good enough for me.
Hope to talk to you soon Bro.

Sorry to TJ, but just had to put in my favorite quote from Young Frankenstein:
Inga: Werewolf. Frederick: Werewolf? Igor: There. Frederick: What? Igor: There wolf. There castle.
In fact, one of my email addy's is therewolf...

I thought ba109 was your H? And your H died just before you came here? Wow, I would have never guessed you had just suffered such a tramatic loss.

Oh.. wow....no...he is not my husband.
Someone on EN tried that stuff because our numbers were consecutive...like that lumped us together.
My H died in November 2001...and I believe I joined that next summer...of 2002.
I guess I didn't put my story out there. It wasn't like I was looking for advice or anything...and too many times when someone is posting about themselves, the most aggravating thing in this world is when someone responds with something that makes it ALL about them.
I tell my kids all the time...can we PLEASE let this be about ME for a change!?
