LOL Ark !

BTW 'little Britain' is the new Monty Python. Its far too controversial to ever be shown in the states I would have thought. Very funny though.

<img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> you know I was outside watering the flowers and realized in my ignorant Americanism..that I really don't know what sod off means...and it occurred to me that I may have said something really really mean.... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

which is NOT meant to be mean....know what I mean...

that's it...we get paris hilton...and you get monty python..life is NOT fair...

"sod off" is a slightly less polite " go away !".
in Shakesperes' day it was far stronger and meant something to do with mens bottoms, but no longer.

You used it appropriately !

You should also check ot " the fast show". Its finished now but is VERY funny in the best tradition of British sick humour.

I've been in the Paris Hilton.... Oh, you didn't mean that one did you ? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I'm fairly new here and am trying to learn everyone's story.

I have a quick question for Ark.

Are you married to Pepperband?

my husband probably wouldn't like it if I was... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

though I once went to work and went on and for five minutes to my office mate about the thousand things I had gotten done before even coming in to work...to work a twelve hour over night shift...

and being a wise male...or a wise @ss take your pick...

after listening to me list ALL the tasks I had done that day...in other words all the work I had done before coming to 'work'

he looked at me..and said...

"You need a wife." <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

So if mr. ark doesn't mind..and mr pep doesnt mind...
and Pep packs backpacks and makes peanut butter sandwiches...
and picks up the drycleaning......

I would marry her in a second....
but she'd have to move...I ain't going West..

heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> And where does that leave me? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Just somewhere in the middle, I suppose. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I used to be Pep's soulmate. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Oh well, you win some, you lose some, live goes on.

Don't any of y'all have BBC America on yer cable lineup?

I get Monty Python, Little Britain, What Not to Wear with Susanna and Trinny, and (best) Black Adder. Fortunately, all this allows me to explain to Murricans the difference between "shagging" and "snogging."

And you *bet* I know what "sod off" means! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
