HELP.

I am trying to convince my H that CPS needs to be involved ASAP.

He is reluctant still.

We have had consistent C with OC for the past eight months. Our visitation was recently cut down to 6 - 8 overnights a month from 11 - 13 overnights a month.

OW and my H have been fighting about OC's "adjustment issues" - OW says OC doesn't want to see us anymore. OC has started displaying more weird behaviors like eating her hair, lying constantly, and gagging on any food that would be considered healthy.

Over the weekend, she actually made herself throw up stating that she "didn't like the cereal she ate for breakfast". I'm scared for her.

She's been lying about everything. Lying to us, to her siblings, her teachers, and her mother. She told OW that my H only calls our daughter "princess" and "honey". That we don't love her as much. That we force her to wear our other daughter's clothes and that everything we ever bought for OC actually belonged to our other daughter first. OW came to my H furious. Was noticibly upset when she came to pick up OC. We've never had problems with OC at our home before but the last two visits have been a nightmare!

I wish I could re-iterate every problem we've had to show the severity of the situation but I can't. I'm so worried, and so tired of dealing with this.

I want my H to call CPS and report OW for neglect and emotional abuse, I want my H to get OC into a child psychologist ASAP to help her.

My H brought his concerns to OW yesterday and she blew him off. Then she kept OC home from school today, my H had gone there to speak with OC's teachers to get a mental health referral.

OC acts like a teenager. Mouthy, exhibiting blatant sexual behavior, talks about boyfriends, getting married and having babies constantly, now lying incessantly. And the last two weeks is the first time she's acted out so horribly in our home. She's always so well behaved! And happy.

But, not these last two visits. She's said that she doesn't want to come see us anymore. And when we asked her at lunch if she was feeling okay to eat (after puking that morning) she said matter of factly: "Sure, I like Tuna."

My H and I feel as though the situation is totally out of control! We are freaking out trying to figure out how to help her, how to make the situation better. Please read through some of my previous posts about OC and help if you can, we're at a loss here.

I'm reluctant to get CPS involved but I don't think we have a choice. OC's teachers told us this morning that there is nothing they can do because it's the end of the session and OC is no longer their responsibility. They said we'd have to wait until she started kindergarten and deal with the public school system.

What the f@%$ is going on here?! Can anyone enlighten me?

Is it possible OC has been sexually abused? Why is the school being such cop out? It seems to me they still have a responsibility to report anything they suspect to CPS

We have wondered before if there has been sexual abuse, but her pediatrician had examined her (2 years ago) and said that if there had been, there was never any sort of penetration. OW refused to let us see OC for nine months after that dr. appt and made it clear that we were never to discuss it again if we wanted a visitation schedule.

I don't even know the signs of sexual abuse, but I think someone had mentioned that gagging could be a symptom awhile back when we were having problems with that at dinner.

I also thought that the school was supposed to report anything unusual to CPS, but either they don't see anything that would warrant the phone call, or they just don't want to get involved. OW has let it slip that the teachers there have brought issues up with her, but they will not let my H in on them. They seem to really not want to get involved.

We just don't know what to do anymore.....at the end of our rope.

Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated.

is there legal custody in place??

if not, get to an attorney and get one in the works ASAP.

My 4 year old went thru a phase of boyfriends and babies. She had a boyfriend (in her preschool) that she said was her "husband" and she was gonna have a daughter and yadda yadda. She was trying on family relationships for size. So, that in and of itself isn't that troubling, unless it was accompanied with inappropriate behavior.

Other things though, are worrisome. If you have any legal grounds, then I would use them to get her evaluated.
