I am new to this part of the forum (have posted several times in Divorced/Divorcing). I was wondering if anyone had ideas as to special things I could do for my wife that would SHOW her I love her. We are seperated, and I tell her that I love her very much, but I have never really been that good at SHOWING it. This is a delicate situation, because I do not want to push her or feel that she is pressured, but just to make her feel special. Any ideas?

What does she like to do? Ask her to do it and tell her that you don't want any heavy discussions. And read the article "Why Women Leave Men." (On this website) My husband was physically abusive and unfaithful but, with the perspective of time, the most damage I experienced as a person was from neglect.

can't go wrong with a card. Or many cards. I just picked up 5 different cards for my wife tonight. Just a little way to show her how I feel, what's irking me, and esp. how much I love her.

What's her favorite flower? Get some.

Decorate your house. Throw a party for just the two of you when she gets home from work.

Sounds like you and I are in the exact situation. We, too, are separated and I am continuing with Plan A, but don't quite know what to do to keep her remembering good/loving stuff without my seeming pushy or needy. It's really hard when the person is not living at home. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I am seperated also, and I agree that it is hard to show you care while not living together and without being pushy. I think a text message or email is always a good one. Email her and tell her 3 nice things. Things you are proud of her for, things you love about her, what makes her special.
You could also invite her on a date. Dont' know if you do this but it's not pushy as she can always say no, and it allows you to go back to things you did when you were first dating. You pick her up at her house with flowers, take her to a nice place, picnic, etc.
