This week school starts in my city. Some children in this area have already started back. So, for this month, and maybe next, goes as follows:

Dear God, school is starting for millions of people. I ask you to bless all the students, no matter their ages and levels of education. Also, bless the educators, administrators, and support staff that will be participating in the educational process - even the 'lunchroom ladies'.

And, I ask you to also bless the parents and guardians that will be sending the children to school. Help them to be able to provide adequate school supplies and other needs for the students in their lives. And, please, give them the courage and PATIENCE to deal with the students during what really is a stressful time though we 'grown-ups' don't always understand the students' stress.

May it be a successful year for all students and teachers. And may the parents not blow a gasket in getting their children out of the house on time every morning.
