Hi Everyone,

Just touching base with friends at MB and I'll say hi to newbies. What's a newbie to me? Were you here in 2003 or, maybe, 2002... or before that?? No?? To me, you're a newbie!! lol

I moved back to the town I left due to the conflicts that brought me to MB.

It's not the same.

Instead of torch carrying zombie mannequins at a pseudo church... I'm in a fellowship of true believers who are seeking personal relationship with God as peers.

(We're so sick of religion.)

Anyone read "Jaded"? Or "Toxic Faith"?

Some really cool friend, from MB, told me about Jaded. (Are you out there??

Well, I'm on top... surrounded by friends... not TRYING to recover from a divorce and a be-bound (I'll explain some other time - new word especially created for my life. lol)

I'm on top. (ok, never mind... LH is married now and is not permitted to joke with me... so I won't expect a witty response from him.)

Congrats, LH and de-virginized spouse!! lol

So what is new with everyone else?

How's High Flight, Tossed, and that gang?

Just checking in.

If you want to know if I'm still re-virginized - it's not a subject I really want to discuss - so, as you ALL know - I still hold the title!!! lol

See ya,

Laura

Hey Sweet Laura Lee!!! Soooo nice to hear from you again. You have been truly missed that's for sure.

Glad to hear you're "on top & surrounded by friends"! What a great place to be!! God is good!! Much better to us than we deserve eh?

I'm still here too. Still learning & working on my recovery, but I've made significant progress. I've been solo now for 1 year + 8 months. Almost doesn't seem possible. Today I did have a momentary melancholy moment - which I hadn't had in MONTHS! Just overwhelmed at a myriad of tiny details that make life so complicated. And with my ExW present it would be sooo much easier. Things like I'll be on a trip ALL of next week & I'm expecting multiple UPS shipments of significant & expensive things, so what do I do about keeping them safe & dry, etc.

Anyway, I've also met a great lady that I'm seeing. But it's too early to tell...plus she's too recently divorced for this to have tons of potential. So I'm playin with fire just a bit. I kind of expect to get burned I guess.

Like today her ExWH calls her at work - just to talk. He tells her he loves her, etc. She tells me about it. But she continues to allow him to call her like this. Three's definitely a crowd!

It's like I have all this MB knowledge that enables me to see exactly what's going on or going to happen next. But she has so much potential I have a hard time not giving it a shot. Know what I mean?

Anyway, just catching up a bit. GREAT to hear you back again.

Hugs!!! (((((Laura Lee)))))

Glad you're doing so well.

I'm pondering renovations to my mom's house and moving into it. Renting it from her which would help her financially (she's 80 and just moved into a sr living apartment) and probably selling my house. I do have children to send to college. I would probably eventually become owner of the house only I would end up needing to buy it. Scary thought to be considering all this.

Still seeing the Diplomat - for 4.5 years. He can't move to my part of the country due to children and I can't move to his for the same reason. Don't know where it's going and, right now, I don't have to know.

Hi High Flight & Cinderella,

Thanks for the updates on how things are progressing for both of you. High Flight, I wish you the best with your new interest... and Cinderella with the Diplomat (and with your mom's situation and the housing decisions you need to make.)

I know that when I see where I am... and I look back... that feeling inside that everything gets better every day is verified.

It's been a few days since I've been here at the forum.

It's nice to hear from both of you.

BTW, big news I did not share. I'm quite young looking. People ask me if the picture at my desk is my new baby. And when they see me with her alone, they say the same. Also, when I went shopping at the mall with my daughter and ... yep, new grandaughter... people asked if we were sisters.

Well, I have a new grandaughter!!

And I'm still 25. lol

Again, great to hear from you guys.

Hi High Flight,

I'll send you a picture. Beauty must be inner - cause I'm not that great looking. But I'm known for my smile and making people feel comfortable.

Give me your e-mail address and I'll pass it along.

And I'll catch up on a little reading here on the board, I guess.

Oh, High Flight, I am leading a prayer group and, at a different time, a book study.

I'm enjoying a lot of things right now.

Now, remember, my heart is sealed.

Remember my story? Here's how I see it.

If love of is of God - and in the Spirit - then everything outside the Spirit of God is a work of the flesh - and not the love of God in Christ.

Therefore, covenant relationship is the only way to experience true love... and the covenant relationship must be the will and the work of God.

If we try to "make God bless" what we choose - in the flesh - guess what? It will never be true love. It will be a work of human will - a work of the flesh - and not the Divine.

So, God went and sealed my heart in the Spirit... and I can never (as long as we're both still alive) love anyone else in God's perfect will by the Spirit

So - that's where I'm at.

I'd rather be alone than try to "make God bless" a relationship I will apart from God's will - in the flesh - and not in the Spirit.

So far, I'm still alone...

See ya,

Laura
