I see more problems than a possible affair here - mainly your husband's disregard for your feelings. How long have you been married?

1 year married. He doesn't put much stock in my feelings. He won't even listen to me when I try to talk about it, and he says I should not worry about it. He often says things to me that are not nice. But then he will be very sweet, loving. Basically, as long as I live in his world and we go by his rules, all is well.

He says he likes to be "in control". When I question something, that takes away his control and he doesn't like it.

Sad.

Time for some marriage counseling. I would not even meet with him to "discuss" his inappropriate behavior. Tell him that you must insist on counseling. Your marriage is headed in a very bad direction.

If he refuses to go to counseling, then you go. You need to work on your boundaries. For some reason, you don't have them. That is why you are feeling guilty.

And please know, I'm not being critical of you. I had no boundaries for many years - didn't even know what they were.
