Hi everyone!
I've been away for a while a great deal has happened. I have missed talking to everyone - missed all the different perspectives.

Anyway, we are getting a divorce. Still not what I want, but I can't even see that the realtionship could work out even if he wanted it too. Yesterday was a hard day - We split all our furnishings, etc. We have a few things we are stuck over, but not bad.
My appointment with the lawyer is next Monday. Here in IL it will happen fast. Real fast, but at least I can move on!
I hope all of you are having better luck than I did. I need to catch up on everyone.
Bye for now.

------------------
H

I have been wondering how you were doing and what has happened.
I am so sorry to hear it has come to this. You don't deserve to be put through this. I will pray for you and your son. I don't really know what else to say except I am sorry.
I hope you can move on, but allow yourself to heal first. Please keep us all in touch [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

Thanks Cracker!
I have made plans to go back to school to finish my masters - I have started the ball rolling. I just need to do something for myself - and that will keep me close to my son for a while.

You know hj, going back to school is what I would do too. It is a great healer and makes you feel like you are really doing something for your self. So what will you study?
Best of luck to you...you will do great!
Cracker -
I have a degree in math and have taught High School and worked as a corporate trainer. I plan to get my masters in math. Then hopefully teach at community or technical college. At that time I hope to pursue PhD in education or math. That way I can teach at a university.
I hope all goes well. You never know - in my pursuit to find myself and take care of my son - I may end up meeting someone who will love us both and love me like I deserve to be loved! I am sure you will!! Sounds like a tough degree to me. I was never any good at math. I am sure you will have great luck with it.
I think what usually happens is you get involved in yourself and not looking for a man and then they just show up!!
Keep your head up! You will do great [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
