i've been trying to write up a post to share here, but so far i've been unsuccessful.

i'm feeling really really bad today FF. hard to keep tears back.

and yet, my heartache is NOTHING compared to yours.

i just have to relax. at least that is the mantra i've been trying to use.

i'm sad, i'm just really really sad today.

i don't thing he will ever get to forgiveness. my marriage can survive, but it will not recover.

i have no reason to fret. even if we never get any closer than we are right now, I am much better off right now than i was before and that is still a thing to be very grateful for.

i think our upcoming anniversary is making me fret some. it's going to be hard. and i can't let it show that it is hard, it will confuse the kids and it will not show the right msg to H.

(((((((FLT2M))))))))

I have a friend that her H continued with the LB and hurt for over 2 years. I remember her telling me at 2 years is it going to be like this forever? She became a hermit, and raised her son, and did everything for her H, hoping he would heal.

By 3 years, things were starting to normalize. If he drank - he became LB and hurtful about her A, but day to day life was getting better, he was showing her alot more love everyday...

By 4 years, things are almost completely normal. He may get distant once in a blue moon, but he meets her needs now, respects her and even said to her - wow - you have really changed alot over the years - you just give and give to everyone. He noticed...And they started trying for another baby and now, 5 years later they are due in a few months and things are good.

She makes sure not to bring up anything bout A's, as not to trigger him - but it was a LONG LONG LONG LONG journey for her, as she had to let him heal on his own time, since being a stubborn man, he wouldn't see councelling.

He always wanted his marriage, he really did - he just didn't know how to heal, so time healed him.

Hang in there.

FF, i am most grateful for my the fact that i am healing, i am grateful i finally figured out what the "hole" in my heart was about.

in other words, i am grateful for the ability to feel God's love now.
