My mother's friend. A woman of God. Someone I would think of as my Mentor. My sister's Deacon. She is 70 years old. She is married. She has just told my mother and my sister that she was having an affair.

She told them she was having the time of her life. She said they had oral sex and that she used a feather to control him. She did not say how old he was but that his children were not grown.

My sister and mother called to tell me because my mother said she had never given my father oral sex. My sister could not beleive it. She thought that was funny. (I really could not beleive that part!)

I cannot beleive it. I confided in this woman when my husbands affair was going on. She consoled me. I am destroyed. How does a person know what to beleive in? I need help understanding all of this.

I understand how it all happens. I was not faithful to my first husband. I was only 18 when we got married. He was 25. I had been with him since I was 15. I did not know any better. It was awful. He never knew. I was never happy with him. He had a really bad drinking problem. I divorced him.

I asked the Lord to forgive me and I moved on. I met my husband and when we married (I was 26 he was 30) I understood what I was doing. I have never thought about being unfaithful.

Help me with this. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Have you told her H? LU, I am sorry that someone that you look up to let you down. It just goes to show we all sin, we are all human. How sad that at her age she is still making bad choices.

Am I supposed to tell her husband? She told my mother and sister in confidence. I am not even supposed to know.

LU, if you were her H wouldn't you want to know? Ask yourself this...is her friendship or the power of knowledge for a BS more important?
