Hi guys,
What a week it has been! DD and I are home alone. I have what is considered a fulltime position with the school district. Life is different.
After the corn stand debacle, Plan B has remained in place. WH wanted to take DS#1 to visit his grandparents the day before he left. I believe WH wanted to do this to appease his parents for blowing them off last weekend. DS often feels caught in the middle and my advice was that he take MY car and meet his dad down there. He did this and had an okay time. At least, he saw his grandparents.
WH SAYS (via DS) he's going to call DD this weekend. He's going to find it a tough sell. I'm not going to mediate the situation. WH is going to have to face the wrath of an angry pre-teen. I'm not sure he has the balls.
My job is going well. Basically, I shadow different special ed kids in classroom situations. Some of the kids are quite difficult. I was thrown to the wolves from the beginning. I've had no training except what I came in with. I can cope. I just hate looking inept.
It's a bit lonely at our house. DD and I are trying to sort out a routine. This will be our first weekend really alone. We've planned out some things we want to do.
More later....gotta go!

Mediation set for November Final dissolution in January 2007. 2008 and beyond: Life goes on...

You are doing great, GG. I am very glad that you went into Plan B and happy about your new job. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
