I sent an e-mail to all of my husbands sisters and his brother this morning telling them that "the OW left her husband and children in April and has been living with ****."

i said thati spoke to her husband and he told me. I said "That is why he sent me the letter telling me he no longer wanted to try to work on our marraige. he is still my husband and i love him. I at least deserved to know the truth."

in case they are not opening my e-mails....

i made sure you could see these words as the title when they open thier e-mail message list

"******* is living with *****"

(OW is living with H)

so even if they don't read the rest of it....they will know

ps
if they blocked e-mails from me-will they get sent back or will i get a messagethey were not accepted?

my h did say they did not want to hear from me. ( he asked them to no longer have contact for me-to be his support system)

eav,

Unfortunately blood is thicker than water. You should not take the initiative and reach out to his family once the A has been exposed. If they reach out to you and give you support then that is great. That also means that they fully understand the situation.

There is a good chance that they may betray you as well. That happened in my case. Who knows what your H is telling them also. I'll bet he isn't telling them the clear truth.

You must be prepared for the fact that they will take his side. My WW had one parent that helped her in the A and one parent that helped me. They are divorced also.

I'm sorry you are in the situation you are in. I will bet atleast one of the siblings is helping your H in his A. It will only hurt you in the long run to email such things. Just expose the A and then break off contact unless they contact you. I am very cautious talking to my WW family now. You should be too.

I'm not sure what kind of message you will get back if they block it.

Just be cautious. I've been in your shoes and I now consider it a mistake to have trusted some of my WW family. But there were some that were there for me. They are the ones who reached out to me.

i did not contact my husbands family for ove a year.

i contacted his sister in July but only to tell herthat my husband had left me 4 messages threatening suicide.

she shared alot of information with me. she is the one who told me..after me not knowing all this time...that my husband had left for a woman he had an affair with before.

she told me that her family tried over and over to talk him into coming home. she said he was childish, selfish and immature.

he became angry becuase of what she told me.

this is why he asked them not to have contact with me.

i contacted them today by e-mail, becuase i don't know if they are aware the OW is living with him.

i did not ask for thier support. i just exposed to them.

It sounds like the sister is being helpful. I guess I misunderstood. My WW family is split in two right now over what is happening. I little different. I'm just a non trusting person these days. Ya know?

The added pressure of his own family members not agreeing to what he is doing would be helpful in eventually bringing him out of the fog. I hope. And exposure is in the curriculum.

i couldn't even expose to his father as this has about destroyed his health already.

they do think what he has done and is doing is wrong.

his sister told me i am crazy for even wanting him back. she said he is not the good, kind, caring man i fell in love with anymore.

but...bottem line is...they are still in contact with him and they never contacted me all this time. I only got the information because i called.

he is "blood family" and that is forever

i'm replaceable i guess

Unfortunately that may be the case.

If they never contacted you then you should be watchful.

I know the one parent who NEVER contacted me is the one who helped the A. The other parent calls me every 2 weeks approximately and doesn't talk to her much because my WW doesn't like talking to reason.

Ofcourse, every case is different in some regards. It must have been lonely not to have been contacted by them for so long. You probably considered them family as did I. It's tough but a good plan B will be helpful if you do it right. That is where I'm at and I feel much better these days.

Where are you at in the process?
