WH was promoted last week (military). Asked him if he'd heard from OW--had had 2 mos NC--he said she emailed congrats--and he emailed back! I was angry, had big argument--told him that by replying he opened the door for her to continue communication!!!! He gave me copy of her email (I now have her work email); she asked if he "enjoyed the fam/relatives during the celebrations?" he said he did not respond to this question, only told her thanks--don't have his email reply. Should I be concerned? Told him he violated my trust and that the fact I had to ask vs him telling me on his own meant he was being secretive and disrespectful! He said he knew I'd be mad so didn't tell me--like I don't have a right to be mad?! Thank goodness we start MC tomorrow evening; he is being so unresponsive I'm beginning to doubt I have the energy to get through this! Thanks for letting me vent!

The services release the names of the promotees publically by MOS, Rating , or AFSC. The OW could get it just by going to the personnel site for that service.

Doesn't mean they have been in contact. If I knew his name i could send him a congradulatory email.
