FF and Dealan,
No I was going to an all party mediation. The attorneys are feeling some pressure since the judge set a 11-17-05 trial date.
I have a busy afternoon with patients and hope to post some issues brought up.
My STBXW looks terrible( and I take no joy in saying that). She has lost a lot of weight, had dark circles under her eyes and seems to have aged 5 years in the last 7 months( for that matter I suppose so have I).
By the way she was walking and carrying herself, her rheumatoid arthritis must have flared for her. It was hard to put aside my habit of protection for my STBXW, I have always guarded her physical and emotional well being to extremes. To see her hurting was very triggering for me.
On the other hand , she made it clear that she wanted every dime that the state of California laws provided for her. If there was any shame it was hidden well by her downcast eyes and demeanor.
During a break in the talks as she walked out in the hallway for a private pow wow with her attorney, my lawyer looked at me and very perceptively said " This woman is all about greed"
