Saw Neak's post on I'ville - I know you've already left for Hurricaneland, AJ, but praying for you!

I never had to take the Kobayashi Maru test until now. What do you think of my solution?

Wow, Kimmy, thanks! I just found this on page 4, where I hardly ever have time to go. AJ & I both really appreciate the prayers. Or at least both of us will after I reach him to tell him about it - he wasn't answering his phone just now.

Here is what AJ's trip looked like on the way out, and here is what the weather is like right now. A far cry from sunny CA...

Tomorrow looks like it may be off to LA. The great government plan is to erect trailer villages so the refugees can start moving closer to their homes. It appears that AJ will be assigned to someplace like that from the construction phase on. The most incredible part is that he will have full federal law enforcement power. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> Talk about scary!

He sounded so relaxed when I talked to him. His roomie was out clubbing, so there was nobody to knock on the bathroom door when he tried to run the hotel out of hot water. He loves doing that, and it may be his last night of peace before descending into the war zone. No way of knowing how bad it will be, or not, until he actually gets there.

Still hurry up and wait... They all had to check out of their hotel this morning, thinking they might be on their way, but then just checked into another motel down the street. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> Here is a picture of the TX coastline. Beautiful!
