Well, I'm confused. Has something happened or are you just being daft?

What does one bring to a Plandemonium party? What should I wear...

If you love something, set it free. If it comes back its yours. If it doesn't, it never was. You can't make sense of insanity...definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Lisa

Bring yourself, one friend, and whatever offering you deem suitable. Drinks are on me.

I thought chitons were mollusks--a kind of sea snail. I don't think that one, pink or no, would be sufficient covering for a party. Unless you're very, VERY petite.

Oh yeah! The goddess is getting out the blender. When the blender comes out, YOU KNOW the drinks will be goooooood!

Tonight, I'm serving Love & Beauty (in a glass) - it's my favorite:
A delicious, icy island concoction of mango, pineapple, passionfruit and coconut, with one secret ingredient, four kinds of rum and a 151 float for good measure. Garnish with what else? Plastic monkeys, fresh pineapple chunks and a cherry!

One of these and things are looking very good. (The monkeys make very nice earrings.) Two of these and you're ready for the wild thing - mirrors optional. Three of these and you're passed out delightfully for an hour or four.

Holy Sally on a scallop shell! t&l, you provoked the best laugh I've had this week!

1. Petite yes. Mollusks to eat yes. Mollusks to wear? Naked Goddess splendor suits me fine in a pinch.

2. You know what a chiton is just as well as I do you adorable wordy show-off!

3. What will you be wearing???????

I thought chiton was in tablets you take to lose weight??

But then I think everything in tablets should make you lose weight

Life may feel as if you are constantly getting kicked on a daily basis, living is about picking yourself up each day and going on and on and on regardless.

Faithful,

I have a funny feeling that those 5 shots of rum add a little something to to the love AND the beauty!

You're on to something though - no one knows you're mad dog drunk as a skunk in cyberspace!

One IRL Love & Beauty virgin coming up! I'm making it a double! With extra cherries.

Whom will you be bringing to the fest?

AW,

It's been my observation that goddesses don't need to lose weight!

UM, I'm providing the liquid nourishment. WHO is bringing the dancing men?!? Where are my offerings anyway?! Huh? Huh?

It would also depend on the nature of your party.

2. You know what a chiton is just as well as I do you adorable wordy show-off!

Actually, I didn't until I googled it. I had children who were very interested in sea creatures, but none who cared much for the nuances of Greek fashion. Hence my knowledge base is somewhat skewed! Identifying "toga" was pretty much my limit.

3. What will you be wearing???????

Scrubs. Navy blue. Two pockets. Bandage scissors. Just in case one of the mollusks decides to ingest YOU, I may be called upon to perform a procedure!

I gave up on my thread. Got tired of being over there alone carrying on an animated conversation with myself. Too much like being at home with the TarBaby.

A virgin with cherries! Do they really come with the drink, or are you just making that up? I'll have a virgin, too, if you don't mind. A DRINK, in case you're wondering. I've had one alcoholic beverage in my life--30+ years ago, a Shirley Temple, and I threw up the next day all over the asphalt at the service station right in front of the bathroom towards which I was running...but not quite fast enough--and 4 shots of rum would pretty much be the end of intelligence for me, as we know it.

Everybody's gone. Great. Now I've killed YOUR thread, too. I think I'll go back to the bleeding pt. (no profanity involved, she really IS bleeding) and see if I can send her home or if I have to keep her.

This thread isn't dead.

I'll take whatever you're serving...on ice, but nothing virgin for me. No dancing men for me, either. I'd rather have my husband. He's an excellent dancer, but I won't share his groovy moves with you...sorry. I'm here for the cyber drink and the escape from the IRL things that disgust me.

Sorry I'm a killjoy. You can oust me from the party, if you like and I'll just watch from afar.

Every party needs its wallflower, eh? I'll bring a gift of plastic monkeys that double as lovely earrings for our hostess, Sally...

If love and beauty really came in liquid form...I'd be parched.

t&l,

You couldn't kill a fly. I actually fell asleep last night! The body finally outlasted the head. It was bound to happen sometime! How is the pt? Stopped bleeding? Cuz, EEEEEeeeeyyyeeeeewwwwwW.

I'm up, I'm fresh (in more ways than one!) and ready to go get my Perp. some Dramamine at the pharm. Wake up y'all!
