Not that I take stock in anything "THE" Donald (Donald Trump) says. Nor does this question affect me directly. I'm just curious to hear from the males on here.

THE Donald says "If you need viagra, you're with the wrong woman."

What do you men think about that statement?

The Donald is a rich moron.

He may have a lot of dollars, but he doesn't make much sense.

Maybe he's trying to explain why he's married more than once.

Seriously though, what he says is hogwash. ED has nothing to do with the woman and everything to do with the man, either physically or psychologically.

Donald doesn't ever need to worry about this, since he can afford to hire a fluffer! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Also, even if the equipment fails, whatever woman he's with (you don't think he's going to choose to be with a real one do ya?) is going to tell him what a great lover he is.

Yup, rich moron. I wonder, though, how many men who take these ED drugs actually need them? I've never needed them, but a friend of mine's doc prescribed some for him (his wife pushed him in the door LOL). He says they work and make the boy stand tall and proud like he was 20 again.

This is just more BS. My WH needed Viagra to do it with me, and he still needs it to get it up for OW, who is 20 years younger than we are.

If it won't come up on it's own for the wife, it won't for the OW.

Well, I already knew that money can't buy happiness; it obviously cannot buy intelligence or tact either.

What an idiot. He really needs to live the rest of his life with his ego. There is no room for anyone else.

From his looks I'd say he thinks viagra is a hair care product!

This is just the silly sort of sound byte people like Trump will throw out to TV to get attention, and totally ignores the medical reasons why Viagra was created. For older men with a number of chronic diseases (high blood pressure, alcohol abuse, and diabetes), the biochemical process necessary to develop an erection doesn't work properly or reliably enough to complete intercourse, and Viagra helps with that, both in getting function and maintaining it during the "act".

Anyone remember the early ads for Viagra with Bob Dole? There's a different story, as he doesn't have any of those conditions, he was just "worried" about side effects of his prostrate surgery. He doesn't actually have ED. But he does make nice money schilling for PFizer.

Regrettably, the big V has become something of a recreational drug, even women using it in some cases, and some estimate that as much as half the sales fall into that category.

From Fox News:

Quote
EW YORK — Bob Dole was supposed to be the face of Viagra. But there are reports that much younger men are popping the famous blue pill and similar meds.

A recent study shows that while most users of Viagra (search) are still over 56, an increasing number of men under 55 are using the erectile dysfunction drug — leading some to suggest that the medication is increasingly being used as a chemical aphrodisiac

"The study of more than 5 million insured adults from 1998 to 2002 found that the fastest-growing segments of users was men 18 to 55. The number of men 18 to 45 using the drug tripled during this time," said Tom Delate, author of the Express Scripts study reported in the International Journal of Impotence Research (search) in August. "It looks like it's for recreation or enhancement."

Ok... chalk this up to TMI, but what the he!!.

I have ED drugs that I take. Yes, I am quite young to have ED, but it happens. Or should I say it doesn't happen. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> My father and my uncle also take them. (Not mine of course)

It is not hard to get ED drugs. All I did was see my physician and tell him I had a problem. He gave me free samples and scheduled me for a physical. Passed the physical fine so the problem is in my head (so to speak). <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> He still gave me a prescription without me having to prove to him that it doesn't work. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

As for use as a recreational drug, I would have to say that they don't add a lot more to the experience. The only thing might be a firmer, longer lasting experience. If you're willing to risk blindness just for that then you need more than just ED drugs for your head.

It is not uncommon for women (not that there has been that many) to be more bothered about it than me. For some reason they see it as a failure on their part. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is what it is and not really a reflection of what I am feeling at the moment.

One of the women I dated said that a doctor told a friend of hers that long term abstinence can cause the problem. I don't know if that's true. Sounds good to me.

My preference? Cialis. Viagra doesn't last as long and Levitra gave me bad hayfever.

Not TMI, TBG. It's just the way it is. These drugs have helped millions of men. I find it refreshing that you are willing to speak of your need of them so openly and with the right attitude about ED. Long term abstinence (not just from intercourse) can result in ED, which is why a lot of urologist tell their patience to use it or loose it. There's evidence now to support that cancer of the prostate is correlated to long term abstinance. It's been known for qutie awhile now that long term abstinence can lead to BPH. So single guys need to abuse themselves regularly to keep the pipes flushed.

Got to put in a Viagra joke here....

The FDA has warned physicians not to prescribe iron supplements along with Viagra. While taking the two drugs together will not cause any long term problems, if this is done, for the next hour all the patient can to is point north.

I think that if I needed Viagra, it would at least mean that I was with some woman.

Seriously, I wasn't aware that Mr. Trump had any medical credentials.

That's right up there with the warning they have in the TV commercials, something about "if an erection lasts longer than four hours, discontinue use"... I had a houseful of people here, including kids, when this came on during the Superbowl, I snorted my beer right out my nose....

Well, if you are in constant conflict with or unattracted to the woman you are with, you might not be always able to get an erection. So he's partly right there, but that would be more because of an arousal problem, as opposed to a bloodflow problem, which Viagra would solve.

I don't think though that anyone puts that much stock into the relationship advice of a guy who's last 3 marriages have been basically to prostitutes with long term contracts. He even has time limits written in. He divorces them before they get entitled to more money.

On this day I see clearly.
Everything has come to light.
A bitter place and a broken dream,
and we'll leave it all behind.
On this day its so real to me
Everything has come to life
Another chance to chase a dream
Another chance to feel
Chance to feel alive
