My H and I have been separated for 7 weeks. He left me for OW after 14Y. I immediately came on this MB and DB to get some insight. For the last 7 weeks, I have been attempting Plan A, with no success to this point. I have a question regarding Plan B (I basically gave my H a verbal Plan B today on the phone, no contact, set him free, etc). Is a verbal Plan B just as successful as a "Set Him Free Letter"? Please respond.

Nope -- a big part of the letter is the path home.
He needs to know exactly what he has to do to earn his way home. The letter will show him the way.
Its different than "setting him free". Its separating yourself from the ongoing pain of his affair.

Write him a letter. There are some great plan B letters that people on here have written. You can get some good ideas on what to write from them.
