Well today I became one of the statistics that some of the members were talking about a week or so about. I was on my way to school on Hwy 65, and approaching the caution light to slow down before a big intersection. Everyone in front of me jammed on their brakes. I hit my brakes and was able to stop, I looked in the rear-view mirror, and watched the guy behind me lock up his brakes, and prepared for the impact, which happened in a moment. My car then hit the person in front of me. No damage to the front of car, but rear bumper and van hatchback that won't open. I am just thankful it wasn't worse. My neck is starting to hurt and my lower back is starting to feel some pain. I love my van. It just takes a beating and still doesn't have much damage. On the brighter note, w/h acted very concerned and has called me off and on today.
In the end, I have nothing to lose but everything to gain, by trying to save my marriage.

I am so sorry for the accident. Maybe you should be checked out? Isn't it funny how the W/H calls to see if you are OK more than once. Yet he has not come over. Is it guilt or do they care. I know last yr in the midst of his A. I had kidney stone and was in unbearable pain. I was going to go to the hospital alone. He all of a sudden decides I am not to drive. He went and spent the 4 1/2 hrs with me. Did not leave my side. Didn't wake him up tho. Is it just being nosey or is there a trickle of real concern. I guess time will tell. Listen take care of yourself and rest becareful of your injuries -you may need help. Do you have anyone that can driv eyou if you need to see a dr?

Dear Realtor, I think you have confused me with someone else. W/H is still living at home with me. I was just really pleasantly surprised that he called to check on me during the day.
Thank you for your concern, suggestions and kind words Realtor and Jean.
Today my neck is a little sore, but I have had fun in the new rental suv. It is a Ford Escape, and has this neat sunroof. It definately helps my spirits riding around in it.
