....would ever be put on British currency?
My son just pulled out a few keepsake coins I had packed away. One of them was a commemorative coin of Princess Diana and Prince Charles date 1981. It made me wonder, now that the OW is in the house, you think maybe.....?
I shudder to think that could happen.

I dunno. Camilla's just about tolerated because she keeps a low profile, but Diana was an ICON in the UK. A flawed beauty with a golden heart.
Camilla is a betraying old hag who played a willing and active part in the downfall of Diana's marriage and life.
Diana was no saint but she worse her heart on her sleeve and was a real Cinderella to the British public.
So I do not think Camilla will make the currency. Mainly because it is always the monarch not the consort displayed on UK coinage.
So if Charles becomes king, his ugly mug will appear on our stuff.
In case you care theres a it of a strong groundswell of opinion in the UK that Charles should bypass his right of accession in favour of Prince WIlliam. He'd be a popular king.

Orchid the British monarchy has always been a disgraceful shower of inbred wastrels. We've only ever thrown up a handful of good 'uns in 1500 years.
Can't tell what the coin is worth, but petty much every house has one or two in the UK. And mugs. LOTS of C & D Mugs LOL !

LOL!!! Gotta wonder what their anscestors did that was sooo good to grant all this misery. As for any type of royalty, last time I checked, they all eat, poop and sleep like the rest of us. Maybe their toilets are gold plated. L.

"Gotta wonder what their anscestors did that was sooo good to grant all this misery"
There was a guy Henry the 8th. He wanted prodigys with via ow's. He was a married King so wanted to divorce. The Pope said no, no way. So Henry being a peoples guy didn't divorce - he chopped off his wife's head (thinking he was behaving way better than divorcing). Pope told him "You're a bad MoFo, go say some prayers & be sorry, real sorry". Henry says "I is king of my castle FU Pope, I'm gonna start my own religion, remember I the King of England, your just Christ's representative here on Earth".
From that day forth the language of Anglo Saxon was born, and the obvious results of years of inbreeding became appearant to the world outside the castle of blue blood.
Anything familiar?? History repeating?? Without the gore??

Hummm that sure was a big (understatement) night for me personally.
OTOH the Politics here is moving fast so there are a few big nights recently.
Don't know how you'd feel Bob, I do think it's time Blair took the Euro in, it's a fab currency, sure you'd appreciate in your role too.

Are women who really believe in their Prince charmings as I have done post discovery, blind to what they are told by their hero's because we want to believe in him so much.
