My H gave me a CD the other day and there was one song in particular that just made me weep. Things may be incredibly rough right now (I know they are for me), but God is always there.
Praise You in This Storm Casting Crowns
I was sure by now That you would have reached down And wiped our tears away Stepped in saved the day But once again, I say "Amen", and it's still raining
As the thunder rolls I barely hear You whisper through the rain "I'm with you" And as Your mercy falls I raise my hands and praise the God who gives And takes away
I'll praise You in this storm And I will lift my hands For You are who You are No matter where I am Every tear I've cried You hold in Your hand You never left my side And thought my heart is torn I will praise You in this storm
I remember when I stumbled in the wind You heard my cry You raised me up again My strength is almost gone How can I carry on If I can't find you
I'll praise You in this storm And I will lift my hands For You are who You are No matter where I am Every tear I've cried You hold in Your hand You never left my side And thought my heart is torn I will praise You in this storm
I lift my eyes unto the hills Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord The Maker of Heaven and Earth

The whole CD is really inspirational. It's "Lifesong" by Casting Crowns. I would highly recommend it.

I love Casting Crowns! They rate up there with Mercy Me for me. Cinnymd, there is a song by Mercy Me as a FWW you would love called Undone. I'll look up the lyrics for you. It really hit me hard.

Undone by Mercy Me Awesome, powerful song about shedding your sins. No apologies For who I'm meant to be The only thing that matters is I am free When I am overwhelmed Holding pieces of my heart When I feel my world Start to fall apart
To the cross I run Holding high my chains undone Now I am finally free Free to be what I've become Undone
Even in defeat The face of tragedy Still you'd have to say that I found victory In brokenness comes beauty Divine fragility Reminding me of nail scarred hands Reaching out for me
To the cross I run Holding high my chains undone Now I am finally free Free to be what I've become
To the cross I run Holding high my chains undone Now I am finally free Free to be what I've become Undone
Hallelujah I'm undone!
To the cross I run Holding high my chains undone Now I am finally free Free to be what I've become
To the cross I run Holding high my chains undone Now I am finally free Free to be what I've become Undone
To the cross I run To be what I've become And I'm undone

how many of you listen to K-Love? i have listend to that station about 95% of the time since i found it over a year ago. music is very big in my life, always has been. but at this point, i don't do well with anything but christian music. it seems scary to me to listen to any other station. once and a while i'll listen to an older CD of mine that i have hanging around. but then i quickly go back to k-love.
i sometimes wonder why that is and if it is a good sign/bad sign or just totally irrelavant.
i do know, k-love makes my H uncomfortable, too much for him. so i only listen to it when i'm on my own

Faithful,
Thanks for finding the lyrics to that song for me. I absolutely love Mercy Me. "I Can Only Imagine" really helped me deal with my grandmother's death a few years ago.
It is so amazing how God can speak through songs. Thanks for sharing.
God bless.
