Could somebody please tell me what was their impression on the movie THE NOTEBOOK?? My soon to be ex-husband told me he wanted us to go through the same thing as in the movie, well he said SIMILAR. We never got to discuss it, because I was upset with him, but I still saw it. He said the girl reminded him of me. I cried because they end up together ... is that it? Go our seperate ways and then come back to each other?? Well at least they did not hurt each other. Does this mean that he let me go because he wanted the best for me even though she did not understand it? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

The girl left him because her family forced her to...she moved on...in the mean time he fixed up a house the way he thought she would want it some day...she got engaged to the man her family thought she should marry...she came back to the town where he lived one last time before the wedding...they hooked up for three days...her mother found her...warned her that her soon to be husband was on his way to take her back where she "belonged" and she ended up staying with Noah and living happily ever after. I have the book and the movie...it's my all time favorite.

Saw it.. thought it was soo sad. My H tells me he thinks we'll end up together again. What does that mean? lol to you Hope. Are you doing OK?
