My husband who has been serving in Iraq for the last 13mos will be home soon. He called today to say he is back in the good USA! He should be home by Thursday! I can't wait! I am so nervous, excited, and scared all in one. I have butterflies in my tummy! I can't wait to have him home and back in my arms again! We still have a lot of things to work on but, now that we will be together again it will be a lot easier then half way around the world!

Thank God he is back in the USA. Tell him thanks for serving. I know it takes a lot of sacrifice.
Hope you have the house all [censored] and span, and everything ready. It's so nice to hear good news.

SW that is so good!!
I am so glad for you & your family.
Just remember he may not be exactly 'work on the M' material right now. He will have issues from the war and perhaps some strange behaviour for a little while.
It has been known for me to be sitting up on this PC with believer and few others throughout the night while my H patrolled the block or slept outside in the bush ..... so just be prepared for some unusual things... anything from a tick of a eyelid to not wanting a hug or the reverse not wanting anyone out of his sight.
Our men go through some very terrible experiences so just be prepared. Of course it depends on what he was involved in as well so if he's lucky perhaps not much.
Then follow good ol MB and get professional help IF you need it perhaps with Harleys etc. Never be afraid to seek that if you need it.
So all the best for you & family and hoping all will be ok Cheers
AW
Life may feel as if you are constantly getting kicked on a daily basis, living is about picking yourself up each day and going on and on and on regardless.

Thank you all so much! i am so thrilled I can hardly stand it! He hasn't seen to much at least what I know of. He was a inspector with the postal unit so he did travel a lot. But, wasn't front line by any means! I am very Thankful for that. We plan to take things slow when he gets home, I own my own business so it won't be to hard for me to be away for a little while. (ofcourse I will be checking in just to make sure things are ok) this will give us some much needed time alone! I am so proud of him! He has recieved 8 coins and 3 medals while he has been gone! He really is a wonderful man! At times I think he is more thrilled that we have found MB then I am! I am really excited myself! We know that it will take some time to get things back together but we plan to start with some old fashion dating! Thank you all again!

SW, been there, done the homecoming, I KNOW how excited you are right now, and rightly so!!! YAY!!!!!!
By the way, he may not have *seen* much, but he's likely going to be more than a little jumpy. Try to keep the noise levels in the house down for a while, and just keep your wits about you--remember these valiant warriors need their strong gals at home watching out for them. If he gets "weird" on you, don't hesitate, ACT!
But above all else, enjoy your time...now go get your hair done and buy yourself a new dress...and something cute to wear underneath it! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
