I received in the mail today my final certificate of divorce from my lawyer along with my final bill for legal fees and notification that they were now finally closing my file.

I feel like I should be celebrating surving all this crap, but instead its a big sigh of relief that it is finally over. It just seems like a really bad dream.

My kids are doing great, and I'm happier than I've been in years. Really busy but happy. We have our own warped way of doing things that works for us... I wouldn't change it for anything.

No special lady friends yet but it wouldn't surprise me if something happened in the near future. Apparently there are a few interested...

Thanks to all of you for helping me through what I consider the worst time of my life. I do feel stronger and better about myself having survived this than I have in a long, long, time. I'll try to check in once in a while with the hope that this board has gone out of business because the cheaters have dried up <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Bring on the next chapter! I'm sure it's a happy one...

Cheers!

Miker
