I have never contacted OW now XH... I just recently found out what his last name is and I have his phone # and address. What I want to know is should I send him a letter just to kind of introduce myself to him? My thoughts are merely to make sure that he knows that I am safe to be around his kids and not some whacko XW. His kids and my kids spend time together and get along well. My kids have indicated inviting OW kids to the AWANA's program at our local church. Where OW XH has the kids more then 50% of the time I thought I should put his mind at ease as to who I am and what I am about. Should I do this or just leave well enough alone?

Also - OW and her Xh were seperated for a time before my Xwh entered the picture...so he is dealing with this better then me as he will go to their house for birthday parties and such.

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated..

Take care,

~Jamie~

My answer would be no.

I would see no reason unless you are wanting to talk about his X with him.

I think you should look a little deeper within yourself for your true motive in contacting him.

She is his X for a reason...are you wanting to know that reason?

I can understand your motives Jamie but I would leave well enough alone,as you stated. If I were the XH then I would feel uncomfotable getting a letter or call from you,not because you are some precieved wacko but just because it's somewhat of an invasion of my privacy.

You don't need to talk to this man uless he specifically inquires about you and any planned activities for the children.
