It is also interesting how it's "fair game" to attack Christians and Christian viewpoints, but it's not okay to either defend those attacked principles or "question" the opinion of those who do the attacking or who fling DJ's at anything Christian.

I'm not really interested in getting into a discussion or a debate with you.

I didn't notice anyone *attacking* Christianity.

All people have a right to their own religious choices and beliefs and opinions whether I agree with them or not.

I will say however that I am Christian, but I personally don't think it is attractive for Christians to "defend" their Christianity especially when it gets to the point that they become defensive.

It would make Christianity very unattractive to me if I were not a Christian.

I believe more in "attraction, not promotion".

My opinion only ~

God bless,
Susan

Amen Susan.

Susan, not interested in any discusssions.

Suffice it to say, 2Long his took his "shot" first, I responded, then y'all decided I'm "thumping" or something.

Opinions. We all have 'em.

You Opined: "All people have a right to their own religious choices and beliefs and opinions whether I agree with them or not."

For the record, I have NEVER said that anyone can't have any choice or belief that they want, whether I agree with them or not. When someone wants to "tout" their opinion as "fact," be it me or anyone else...."defending, justifying, whatever word you want to use," is EXPECTED (perhaps even required) if "truth" or "right and wrong" are to have any meaning. It not, ANYTHING "goes" and anything is right if the person holding the opinion or doing the "dirty deed" says it's right. NO ONE with an "opposing" opinion could be "Right" because there is no independent "standard" for "right and wrong" regardless of anyone's personal opinion. "Affair FOG?" No such thing because the WS is RIGHT and no one should, or could, tell them differently because "defending" monogamy and the sanctity of marriage is wrong....only the "opinion" is right, in and of itself.

If "right and wrong" and "opinion" don't count, then Pep's thread was meaningless from the first word and it doesn't matter what "opinion" or "values" anyone, including a "counselor" might hold. In fact, in such a situation, the word "counselor" would be an oxymoron anyway...there would be NO need for, or justification for, someone to counsel anyone that their opinions and actions might be wrong.

But hey! It's all "relative" anyway, isn't it?
