I have had two women that I have looked to as role models for divorced women...Nicole Kidman and Princess Diana...both made their lives even richer after their D...

Was at the hospital today...waiting for a patient. Went to the waiting room nearby with a few docs and some staff nurses...we were all looking at latest editions of the gossip mags...

and lo and behold!

My favorite actress Nicole Kidman is dating! A super hot guy and they make such a wonderful pair! Plus I love his anti affair song "You'll Remember Me" ...!

Woo hoo! She's dating Keith Urban! Supposedly it's serious. It was awesome. Everybody in the room said that it was cool. That she did not deserve to be betrayed as she was by the idiotic Mr. Cruise...

And the article goes on to say that she may very well remarry before TomKat does! They also mention that Tom's GF is preggers!

I looked to her because she was always a lady...full of dignity..put her kids first before her acting..kept family out of the limelight..and of course I shared wtih her the reality of being a BS who was blindsided by an incredible WH...

That is sooo kewl!

They seem to be a beautiful and peacable couple. Wish them the best~!

What is scary is that Tom's over the top actions and behaviors are exactly like the actions of my xh...especially the way he claims to know everything (tom claimed he knew more psychiatry than docs do...remember Matt Lauer? Our whole hospital was laughing their arses off at him)...

He is scruffy..but I'd bet that man could look hotter than a firecracker in july if he got dressed up! I love his music too.

Oh yeah he is hot, enough to make my old blood boil..... Everytime he w as on TV my H would say.... Babe your BF is on ..... but he always laughed about it.. heck in fact he bought me 2 cd's for christmas last year by Keith and oh yeah the other one I love Toby keith ...... Funny thing is my WH looks like Toby Keith ..... He hates when people tell him this... I think its cool though .....

What is wierd...one of the nurses knows that whole thing about why I like her...

She said "gosh...I remember you saying that your timeline and her timeline were almost the same...maybe this means you're completely moving on too? could this be a coincidence?"

I said that I thought it was more due to fact that Nicole's dad is a psych who helped her think thru her divorce and recovery. And that she did not immediately move in with somebody (like tom did with Ms. Kruz...the original ow) and spent time healing. I did think that it was neat she dated Lenny Kravitz, but I did not see them together permanently. Supposedly Keith is an aussie too! I think they are pefectly matched...at least on the surface.

Again, they'd have gorgeous babies! I just so want a fairytale ending for her!

I am 36. That is definitely not old either! Look at Christie Brinkley! She is in her fifties! So gorgeous! You can make the best of yourself at any age. Heck, all the women I know here in their mid forties say they're better and look better now than they did 10 years ago!

Eat right. Take vitamins. Sleep. Live decently...Don't smoke..and your skin will always look young.

Oh I am taking care of myself now. With all the weight I have lost it makes me feel so good. I make sure I wear makeup to work and when ever i leave home. I want to look good ya know. Sleep well thats a litte tougher with working nights but I try to nap during the day.

I am getting there. I don't know who's singnature line this is but its me ... Work in progress......

I have no admirataion for Tom Cruise but I believe that the reason for their breakup was an affair that Nicole Kidman had. The only time that Mr Cruise commented on his divorce was to say "Nickie(sp) knows what she did"

From what I hear - it was more Tom's scientology views and beliefs and Nicoles lack of the same beliefs that had Tom leave her...Tom's a finatic...Nicole thinks it's cultish. She didn't want her family exposed to all that - being how tight Tom is in that religion - that would be offensive enough to him...

Brook Shields said something on the View the other day that I agree with...she said - poor Katie Holmes...if she gets Post partum - what is the girl to do (knowing Tom's recent view on Post Partum...and Brooks lack of knowledge - sheesh)

I like Kieth Urban, too. His song, Making Memories of Us has been the song that has sort of been our theme song for our recovery.

I agree with Dorry on poor Katie. Too bad Tom can't suffer some post partum himself. Might change his tune.

While I agree Tom is 'out there' with his beliefs, it was the A headlines on Nicole that was mentioned not his antics.

Bottomline is Tom and Nicole have split. Nicole chased a few men but usually scares them off.....maybe too gorgeous, powerful and rich 2 handle? Tom seems crazed 'bout Katy H., hope she is a bit saner 'bout their R.....but baby will make 3 either way. The ones I pity are their adopted children....how many of them r there?

My favorite actress is Nicole Kidman too and I felt in awe of her when I saw her in the movie Dead Calm many years ago.I have followed her story off and on.I am not a big celebrity fan at all but I do admire her work.

I got the feeling from reading about her and interviews that she was completely destroyed and surprised that Tom was leaving her,for Penelope Cruz at the time.I remember her saying that she wanted to grow old with him,as I did with my WH.

Watching TC's displays these days has really turned me off completely now.I used to think he was such a lucky man to have Nicole by his side and they looked so happy but he has a screw loose.He is going on his supposed third marriage to that much younger woman Katie and now she is pregnant sans marriage which just disgusts me.I wonder how long this latest cohabitation will last.

Keith Urban sounds like a nice guy,from Australia as she is so I just hope she is happy.I am not wanting them to rush to a M as we all know how difficult that can be just in our normal day to day lives not under continuous scrutiny.

Edited to add: From what I have read in interviews with her,Nicole was NOT involved with Russell Crow.Rumors flew since they were supposed to do a movie together and they have been fellow Aussie friends for a long time.It's all Tabloid BS to me.I remember reading how in raw pain Nicole was after the split and that to me says she was not expecting any of it and that she was not cheating.
