ok, here it goes, I am new here, so I am sorry if this is too long. My hubby and I have been married for 4 years. We just had our 4th aniversary in september. Well my hubby is also in the military and he just got back from being out of the country for 52 days. He was in new zealand. I just found out last saturday that he had a secret email account, and well, i got in it. he met a girl in new zealand that he connected with. they talked alot but were not physical. he left it with her to be friends but per her emails she wants more. i confronted my hubby and we talked for hours and both cried for hours. he was unhappy with me he said because i am always so stressed out, and he really just needed someone to talk to. my hubby started telling me things about him i never knew. he had such a bad childhood. his grandmother and own mother tried to kill him on 2 separate occations, and his father is a piece of garbage that wants nothing to do with his kids.
so nyways my hubby says he wants nothing to do with this girl anymore, and he wanted me to delete the email account. well, i really just changed the password, and this girl won't stop emailing my hubby. she acually thinks she loves my husband and that they should be together, after knowing my hubby for 3 weeks. i emailed her as if i were my husband oe day saying things went to far because i wanted to see if they had been physiccal or not, and they were not. so, i am still angry and hurt over this, i know i should get rid of the email, but i also want to email her to tell her to give up. things have been better than expected with my hubby this last week, but i do not trust him, but i really want to. any advise?

Ask him to write a no contact letter. It should say that their friendship was a big mistake, that he loves you, and want to work on the marriage. It should request that she never contact him again for any reason.

It is so hard to stop checking the account, isn't it? closing my FWH's account was one of the best things I did for myself.

Have you read surviving an affair? I think it is a great help for all betrayed spouses to read. Ifhe will read it, it would be great, too. If you find out one another's emotional needs and try to fill them, it really helps.

Blessings
