our marriage is in desparate need of prayers right now. we have several issues, which i won't go into much detail about, but my husband of 2.5 years kicked me out about 3 weeks ago and has now decided he wants a divorce. we had a few fights off and on, but overall, i had no idea that he was so unhappy in our marriage. i am willing to do anything to save it, as has been the case from about 3 months ago when i realized there was any kind of problem.

over the past several years, i have allowed my focus to be shifted off of God, and, though he has always had faith in God, his relationship with Him has never been top priority.

within our relationship, both of us have made a lot of mistakes along the way, but nothing that makes things impossible to work out, as he claims things are. he is so angry, though, and can't seem to let go of that anger, so he's not working to a point where he wants to work things out.

everything just seems so surreal- this is not supposed to be happening.

i have been praying constantly through this whole time, and at a good mutual friend's suggestion (who does know the details of the situation) began today praying for a hedge of thorns around him. i have faith in God and in prayer, but i ask that anyone who is willing to join me in praying that our marriage will be saved and that his heart will be softened will do so. thanks in advance.

Very good suggestion. I would also recommend "Power of a Praying Wife" When I did both of these I started to see a turn around.

Praying for you.

You've got it, woogy. My prayers are w/you. I agree w/S&C. That book also helped me in what seemed like a hopeless situation. Trust in God to see you through to the other side & He will.
