You're using 2 names because of a 'puter virus?

Both names posted the same day at the same time December 8th.

Has someone stolen your ID?

I have so much junk on my 'puter's HD that it has noticeably affected its performance. I've tried PenaltyKill's suggestion to delete the cookies and temporary internet files first but it did not work, then I ran my anti-virus, anti-trojan horse, and anti-spyware programs to no avail. I know this issue is related to my computer because when I try loging in as T00MuchCoffeeMan on my daughters computer I have no problem at all [that was the case yesterday]. I'm seriously considering formatting my HD, partitioning it, reinstalling Windows XP or linux, and upgrading my firewall, ugh!. First I have to do a backup just so I don't lose any valuable info. Pray for my 'puter

Nothanku/TMCM:

Hmm. Bummer. Another suggestion: Have you looked into your windows task manager? Perhaps another program is running in the background that is preventing you from going on as TMCM. (You may be logged on to the site as TMCM already, due to this program)

I'm racking my brain to think what else could be causing the problem. Have you contacted the site administrator?

Good luck!

Yep and I even did 2 System Restores to previous points [1 and 2 months ago] but the problem still persists. It may be that I somehow messed up the Registry.

I doubt that this is network related issue because I have no problem with loging in my daughters' 'puter. I even made sure that I logged out as TMCM when I was using it.

For what it's worth, I was planning on doing some major spring cleaning on my 'puter next year to get rid of the junk accumulated on my HD.

Oh and if you are curious, I selected nothanku because people around me have been trying to get me to switch to decaff .

A quick fix to your problem could be as simple as using Firefox instead of IE rather than formatting a hard drive.

Didn't recognize you...

Don't just clean up your HD, though. Get a MAC!
