I posted here not to long ago my husbands unit left from Iraq to Kuwait. Well finally he was told he will be home around the 19th of Jan. Thats a week after his birthday he was hoping to be home but at least I have a date to go by. Sort of stinks though now the days will go by even slower!!!!! I am so excited, our 3yr old son keeps looking out the door to see if he is coming home but he doesnt understand when I tell him a few more weeks. He got a calendar but its not helping. Im just glad to know that wow in 28 days we'll be in each others arms again!!!!!!!! Things are going great between us too, he has a suprise for me but wont let me know until Feb when he gets his month leave, he told my mom bc he needed somebody to tell she said that she wouldnt expect something like this out of him esp since his A, so this is a big plus if my mom knows its good too!!!!!!!!!!

<img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Great news! Are you having your DS mark the days off on the calendar with a big circle around the date daddy returns? That worked when my DD was little and she was waiting for Christmas. Or how about one of those Christmas chains made out of paper kids make to mark off the days til Christmas?

Wow, that is less than a month! I know yu are excited. How about making a calendar on poster board and letting him take off a sucker or candy each day. On the last day, dad could be the reward.
We'll all be counting down the days with you.
blessings!

Not sure if you read my post about the girl who said that stuff. Well she IMED me again last night saying that she knew it was me on my husband screen name and said those things and then apologized for saying them. So i told her to leave my husband and me alone. Well im gunna head off here and take care of my sick babies....Dang 28 days just isnt gunna go fast enough! I got the calendar made for him...He drew "tanks" he gets to ride on when daddy comes home so he has something else that he wants to do! Take Care All

I'm glad she apologized. I think now you should block her from your list and from your husband's. I think even though she was not an OW, NC is a good thing.
I think tanks on the calendar was a great idea. Riding on a tank will be almost as good as seeing dad.
Oh, BTW, was in TJ Maxx tonight - if there is one close to you, they had lots of jammies and nighties on clearance. You may want to pick up something special for his homecomimg.
