I noticed that some of you folks have major problems in your marriage at one time or the other.

Did you ever regret marrying your partner?

Yes...but realize stbx is mentally ill. All marriages have problems. Some have the character to work through it and learn, others just walk without making the effort. Every situation is different.

I like what Ruth Graham (wife of Billy Graham) said once when she was asked if she ever thought of divorce. Her response was, "No but I've thought of murder."

Nope. But I do regret ignoring the signs of our problems and just thinking that it's a phase we were going through. I do regret disrespecting my wife. I do regret taking my wife for granted. I do regret not being there for her when I should have. I do regret not listening to her screaming for help while I was watching that re-run on TV.

I regret a lot of things... but not marrying one of the most beautiful people I've ever met.

The character of a person is defined by their actions...not their intentions. Otherwise, the world would be full of Saints.

no, I do not regret marrying the man I married. I don't like the ws he is right now. But the man I married was a wonderful man. And I miss him terribly. I do regret not having had this site about 4 years ago when we really needed it and when it would have probably helped us prevent the A's that happend after. mlhb

God first, family second, and all else will fall into place.
