FWH called me today, wasnt in the best of moods tried for two hours to get ahold of me but the connection over there was horrible he said. Finally he got ahold of me and wanted his moms cell number. I said o boy what is he up to now? Well i got home just a little bit ago doing up some last minute christmas shopping. She walks in the house with this BEAUTIFUL flower arrangement with an envelope. Inside was this poem it was the most heartfelt letter I've ever read in my life. I couldnt believe my husband could write something so wonderful, im still crying. It touched my heart wow what a wonderful thing i needed. Merry Christmas to me!

That is so sweet. I am so happy for you, but it must make waiting for him to come home even harder.
Have a merry Christmas.

What the poem said:

This present was my idea. I asked my mom to pick it out and take it to you, but the meaning of this is from the deepest part of my heart.
The bouquet is our lives, which was once many indiviual and single entities, but now held together by a band. Unlike the bankd that holds this representation of our lives together, ours can not be cut, can not be broken, can not be overlooked by the beauty with which it holds together.
Our bands wer wrought from the earth and someday, long from now, will be returned to it upon our fingers and our eternal sleep.
Our life is represented by the white roses fro the purity of our actions in marrying to provide a family for our son.
The red roses are us; red for the blood and love we share for, not only our children, but for one another.
The yellow rose is our future, bright and warm.
The symbolism of this bouquet is a simple one: that i plan to walk throught the white roses of life with my children and you by my side, forging our own path to our yellow rose future.
I thought I was married to you for Cam and then later Rye, but from the good times as well as the bad this year, I've realized it was never them.
It has been YOU, it IS you, it will ALWAYS be you.

Merry Christmas Sweetheart

Love, J

Maybe you need to make a calendar to go with DS's <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The homecoming is going to be worth the wait.
