I was wondering if I'm being selfish.

I have somethings of WxH still in my house. Since I live here in New Jersey and he moved all the way to Las Vegas, why should I ship the items to him. First it will be costly, second he hasn't even ask for them.

I don't even want to call him and tell him I have the items. He hasn't miss them.

Also, photographs. I don't want to make duplicates of the photos and mail them out. Seventeen years of photos would be costly and he only mention about the photos once, about a year ago. Why should he have the photos of our memories when he step out on us and our memories. He surely wasn't thinking about our memories when he left with the OW.

I feel so selfish but I feel if he doesn't even miss the items why should I go out of my way to get the items to him.
If he ask for the items, I probably work out a way with him to get them to him, but until then it will stay safe in my house.

Everything he has ask of me I have done, but when I asked him to do something for me and he promised he ended up breaking the promise.

I would not send them. Can you pack them up and store them somewhere in your home so you don't need to be reminded?

Actually I was cleaning out the basement and found many items of his. Many that are priceless like items that were past down from generations. You would think he would miss them.

I don't want to keep them but I will store them. Maybe once he comes out of his fog, maybe he will think about the items and maybe realize what he has done.

I have to add one more thing my friend... You are the BS and he is the WS. Who is selfish???

You are not being selfish... Actually, you sound like a very kind person for considering it. And yes, he may come out of the fog.

Are you taking care of yourself?

HD2, unless the divorce degree says you have to send them, don't. And I bet the degree actually states anything he didn't remove in a timely manner is YOURS!

Keep the photos. The ones of him only you can use for dart practice. Joking. Sorta joking.
