Little Texas
»
God Blessed Texas

I've seen a lot of places
I've been around the world
I've seen some pretty faces
Been with some beautiful girls
After all I've witnessed
One thing still amazes me
Just like a miracle, you have to see to believe
CHORUS:
('Cause) God Blessed Texas
With his own hand
Brought down angels from the promised land
Gave em' a place where they could dance
If you wanna see heaven, brother, here's your chance

I've been sent to spread the message
God Blessed Texas
First He let the sun shine
Then He made the waters deep
Then he gave us moonlight
For all the world to see
Well everybody knows that the Lord works in mysterious ways
He took a rest, then on the very next day
CHORUS (twice)
Well I've been sent to spread the message
God Blessed Texas
Well I've been sent to spread the message
God Blessed Texas

Have you ever watched Sponge Bob Squarepants? There is one character, a squirrel from Texas, who lives under the ocean with the other characters as part of a NASA experiment. She wears one of those diver fish bowls on her head so she can breathe. I thought you'd want to add this Texas song to your repertoire.

(Spongebob)
Whats wrong with Sandy,

(Patrick)
Maybe its Just A Squrel thing,

(Sandy)
Wish I was back in Texas,
The ocean's no place for a squirrel,
Wish I was in Texas,
Prettiest place in the world, oh no.
I guess deep in my heart I'll always be a Texas girl
I wanna go hommmme hooommmmmme hommme oh oh
Yoldle ay e oh, yodle ay e oh, yodle ay e oh, a lay-ee, a lay-ee.

I wanna wake up in Texas
I miss those wide open skies.
I miss my 20 acres, bar-b-ques,
And peacan pies, oh why?

When I'm so far from you, Texas, all I can do-o is cry.
I wanna go ho-oome,
Ho-oome, (a guy)I wanna go ho-ome!

My son has that DVD too. It was a big hit at his Spongebob birthday party a few years ago. It was a coed party (7ish) and the group of about 10 were belting out the Sandy Cheeks song!

Hey watch out. Only a small part of Texas burned- we are a big state.

My son is going to a Lousiana college, but he and his Texan roomies have a huge flag flying in the window. Even his away message says "proud Texan"

Ah say thar little lassy, y'all might could be a tad more careful in callin' the "Tar Heels" "yankees!!!"

Gotta go check 'an see if'n the Mason-Dixon done moved at the hand of some "liberal fascist!!!"

Carolina blue skies, sunrise before them dusty Texicans even catch a glimmer of "Carolina light," not to mention the glorious sunsets over the mountains.

I see you one smoky wildfire Texan sunrise and raise you one Carolina Blue Sky day.
