Life continues to go on with all the pain we must endure as a BS. Just takes time to heal, as I enter my third year, I am begining to feel good about my self, I have stopped all contact with WW, when she calls, I check my caller ID and hand the the phone to my kids to answer.

In the end we all will move on to other things.

I may have said few things to piss some people off, but I will always commend this site for all the good efforts and support it has provided.

AAA,

Are you divorced yet? I see you reg'd here a few months before I did.I'm still not D'd yet but working on it and after New Years, hopefully will get it over with once and for all.

As for the phone calls I do the same thing.I see that number come up and I give the phone to the kids or tell them to pick up.LOL I can't stand talking to my STBX but right now I do to help the D process along more smoothly.yuk

Hoping for a better year myself.Happy New Year to you and your children. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Hi AAA,
Funny you should mention the phone thing. Just yesterday the phone rang and I noticed it was the XW and I just let it ring. My 15 yo s grumbled about me not answering the phone and picked it up. I've been divorced a year as of the 23rd of December and have been riding the roller coaster hoping to bring it all back together someday. Even though she has remarried. I guess my fog is beginning to lift as I grow tired of the effort I put forth with no return. The further I go through this tragedy of life the more I understand it really is a matter of time and going through all the emotions before we all get through this. THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS ! You have to walk the walk and no one else can do it for you. I still have hopes but they are a bit more realistic and don't include me devoting my entire life to winning her back. I'm the good guy and the prize, She needs to win me back !

I got the best Xmas present from my 15 yo s today and he didn't even know it. We were at the dump trying to unload the xmas tree in the brush pile and the attendent came along and said that would be $5. Well it should have been free and I said I would take it and leave it on the steps of the town hall.... My S said don't do that or you might get arrested and we would have to go live with Mom.........
That was actually the highlight of my xmas !!

Happy New Year Everybody ! Hey October Girl Hang in there !
