I am sure this goes without saying, but your hard copies of the cell records, etc...they're put away somewhere really safe, right?

What history? On your browser?

If that's it, and you're using Netscape, click on "Edit" in the menu bar, then click on "preferences" then "Navigator" and finally "History." Two buttons are displayed for "Clear History," and "Clear Location Bar." Click on both. I'm assuming you have the URL for MB in your bookmarks, right?

Okay - he just called he is on his way. Yes - I have copies of everything and they are all in a safe place... Come on - I am not that Naive (LOL)..

I am not getting cocky, Ok maybe a little, but it feels good to finally have the upper hand.

He will be here in 10 minutes. House is clean. I am freakin' gorgious, and he is in for a world of hurt if he is looking for a fight cuz tonight my name is cucumber!!!

Thanks guys - I will post back once he is out of here. I feel very calm and confident thanks to everyone here. God is with me and I know you are too. Thanks again - will email the MINUTE he leaves!!!

Wish I had a recorder so I could remember everything...

"Clear Location Bar" clears the address line you're talking about...again, assuming you're using Netscape.

A good place for a miniture, battery-powered recorder is just under the bottom edge of the sofa. Such things are available from Radio Shack. Recordings are really nice things to have.
Brit told you about the "subpeona duces tecum" thingy. That video is powerful evidence. I think in lawyer-speak it's called "compelling," isn't it? [color:"purple"] "Compelling" is a good choice of words.

BTW, why do attorneys say everything in Latin? Couldn't "subpeona duces tecum" be called a "third party summons" or something? Geez! [color:"purple"] Because if we talked in English, you'd know what we're saying and then you wouldn't need us! "Subpoena duces tecum" basically translates into "You better show up to testify and bring this specific thing with you when you come" or "hand it over buster."

Anyway, I did a Google search on obtaining subpoenas and it looks to me that your attorney can get one with very little effort. [color:"purple"] As simple as filling in a pre-set pleading (most lawyers will have it on the computer as a "form") and sending it to the person for whom it is meant.

I am trying to catch up on your story today Allison - I am rooting for you. This is my first post to you, but when I was reading earlier today it brought back a wave of emotions for me. I remember exactly those feelings you were going through. I felt exactly the same way. I know you aren't on here right now, but so many of us are thinking about you. Rooting for you to be strong and detach from those emotions.

Will be waiting to see how it went......

Blessings!

Kim

I don't know, but I'm all tired out. But I did take the time between reading posts to clean house. I found all of my WH's old BD and Christmas cards and threw them out. Somehow I was in the mood.

This thread has been busy! I was trying to read it at work today, but couldn't keep up!!

I threw out my WH's cards a few months ago, but dug them back out of the trash. I'll hold onto them a while longer.....

Good move, Believer. I cleaned today, too. I got most of the Christmas undecorated. Waiting for husband to help get them to the attic, but the orange bowl is on.

I have to go back to work tomorrow. I am not sure I will be able to concentrate on my job without worrying about a few folks on here.

Can you go give Soul some help on her thread? She seems so sad.

A suggestion: store all documents, e-mail, etc. concerning the A OFF the PC. Best thing to use for this purpose is a USB "drive", which you can store in a safe place when you're not working with the documents.

I think you might be able to move your Outlook Express folder to the key as well - this way no-one can read your e-mail unless your USB "drive" is plugged into the PC.

He was going to eat, too.

I think they like to have a little wine, too. So that might take a little longer.

Alison, we are here for you.
