ok for those of you who havent been following my other thread, I exposed my WxW's affair to the OM's wife today and he is quite upset with her. He has stated he wants no contact with her for a while because he is afraid of loosing his job, etc. She called me about 30 minutes ago and told me if she would loose her job she would kill me, she repeated herself twice, I tend not to take her threats seriously because she has quiet a temper but should I do anything about this?
Should I do something?

Yes, go paint your toenails and wash the car. Other than that, I wouldn't take her seriously.

See, she is VERY SCARED that you will really ruin her affair by exposing her at work. That would be the nail in the coffin for her affair and she knows it.

The doctor has probably told her to "do whatever it takes to shut him up or I will dump you!!"

So please don't interfere with her affair anymore or she will "kill you." [and the doctor will dump her!]

As an avid Court TV watcher, I would be sure their are no life insurance policies listing her as beneficiary. You would be surprised the number of murders that involve the infidels wanting to be rid of the BS.

haha, actually I have a 250k policy that she has been bugging me for months to change back into her name, I changed it to my parents when we got divorced. I cant imagine the Doc would risk loosing his 300k/year job and going to prison over 200k but I guess its not impossible.

I think I would let her know that you have written down a note about her threats and left it with a safe person, just in case something happens.

Often the affair partner has nothing to do with the murder. The spouse just wants to be free with no obligations.

Then I would continue to expose.

Not only would I write it down, I would call the police and make a report of the threat. That would make them both think about what is coming out of their mouths. He's got a reputation and a career that he can't risk. Send a copy of the report to him.

dont you think that if I overreact to this it might cause more harm than good between us, the whole reason of the exposure was to get him away from her so we can repair our relationship, if I file charges against her that might make her resent me more

A death threat is a death threat. Somebody official ought to know.

BTW: I don't think Melodylane really wants you to paint your toenails...

Heck, if the polish looks nice, you might as well leave it....

LOL @ AS!

Well, if you don't want to get the police involved, how about getting tough? Let her know that you've told "people" about her threat, and should anything happen to you, she can expect a knock on her door. Or buy a recorder for the phone just in case she threatens again. Then you can tell her that you have her threatening you, on tape. It'll probably do the trick.

O yeah I have some good guns, I will probably leave my crossbow cocked near my bed tonight, that would hurt a little. I have several high powered rifles, 9mm semi auto handgun, no shotguns unfortunately at this location, they are the best for home defense.

Taxi yellow toenails with black stripes always look nice on a man.

...

I agree with the one who said make a report of it. People do, actually, really, in real life - kill other people. And often before they do it, they threaten to do it. I would certainly take it seriously.

But... I don't think OM would have anything to do with it. Be sure to let his wife know about it too.

Don't worry about her being angry. (Unless you fear that she really will kill.) This is something she did to herself. I don't think it in any way reduces your chances of restoring your marriage. The root problem that would interfere with recovering your marriage is her attitudes - the attitudes that brought her to this place. If those attitudes lead her to be angry with you for doing sensible things to protect yourself, then it may well turn out that she is unfit for you to re-marry. It is important that she come to the point where she knows that the A is and was completely wrong, selfish, cruel etc. - and that threatening to kill people is not something nice nurses do. Don't dodge this. Face it squarely. But, get some advice from the police on what to do to protect yourself.

It's time to start recording phone conversations. In my state, this is admissible as long as one person (you) knows it is being recorded.
