While I'm not divorced yet, (pending, no turning back) first date jitters reminded me of a kiss ( he got his first one in a parking garage) I received almost nine months ago that shook me down to my toes <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />.. it was on the local dock by the bulkhead, when a new friend just put me up against the bulkhead and kissed me.. I didn't realize just how much I needed to be kissed and wanted to be kissed..that kiss started a wonderful relationship that is still going strong today..and it is one of our most romantic spots today.. so I was wondering where other people got their first kiss after D.

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you stop to look fear in the face. Challenges can be stepping stones or stumbling blocks. It’s just a matter of how you look at them. The purpose of life is to live it, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience

My first kiss was one week before D was final. Walking by a river, very "traditional" romantic. And the kiss was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! He asked if he could kiss me. So sweet!I wasn't even all that attracted to the guy. But my stomach fluttered and bounced and I couldn't breath.

I did end up dating him for a tad, and he's a great man, just not my type.

The sad thing is that now, I have a BF, and sometimes, infreuently, I still will feel like I"m "cheating" on my husband. Crazy???

I'm about 1 year post divorce and still haven't had my "first kiss" yet. I'm looking forward to it though...

Mine was at my home. It was the 3rd date and we had returned to my home for coffee. As she was leaving, I realized I needed to ask for a kiss, or she might think I wasn't interested (I was very shy and unsure of myself at that time).

So we kissed at my front door. It was nice, so we kissed again.

Just another guy exploring middle age.
