Yeah, as a FWW I think a thread of our own is appropriate.

FL...
You're not aging yourself, just identifying yourself as someone with excellent taste in music...gotta love the classics!
And glad you're on board Scared Mom!

I came back from lunch and have been searching for the thread titled Mrs. Wondering:) and couldn't figure out where it was, . I wasn't even actually paying attention to the titles. Then I got the idea, hey, I wonder if you can change the title, they probably did it. So I read all the titles and here I am.

Hooray for "Dorry the Brave"! Good going...now, we have it, but where oh where to begin, eh? What current issues are we dealing with?
And to answer the question of who's invited here, I personally say, the more the merrier...I'll be welcoming of all who dare to enter!!! TEE HEE!

Just thought of something else that I'd like to propose regarding this thread...How about total HONESTY...if you feel it, say it...even if you think that it might be offensive to some BSes...I'm not trying to create a war here, but I truly believe that all may benefit from this kind of brutal honesty...
Yesterday on another thread, someone said (was it you Dorry?) that they learned more from some of the "2 x 4" posts than they did from the "way to go" posts...I can certainly say that this has been true for me. I also know that at times I am hesistant about posting some of my "feelings" for fear of possible backlash...my bet is that I'm not the only one that feels this way...True? Anyway, just a suggestion...kinda of an ice breaker of sorts I suppose...

I'm in too. Mrs W, I agree with the honesty part. I learned far more from those that really made me think about my choices etc.

Nope wasn't me but I said something similar - that Lemon's harsh advice I have learned the most from...
Honesty is important. Some of us are further ahead than others and the honesty of where some are at, can let some of the further head ones help out with thoughts feelings, changes and frustrations.
We all have the same goal right? To be a better woman, to be the women we were meant to be - for ourselves. No more self-destructive behavior...no more self-medications. Marriage recovery may take while...but our personal recoveries are also important to prevent ever being in this place again...

hi everyone, i see we have a new title.
as for posting whatever we are thinking. i pretty much do that already. i can only imagine that i look pretty foolish sometimes but oh well, such is life. posting here has been so helpful for me. i suppose there has been occassions where i have hesitated. but not on anything i felt was important.
regarding our common goal of no more self-destructive behavior: based on my last thread, you can be sure i still need help on really reaching that goal. as well as weighing no more than 135 lbs by April 28. (i'm currently 170 - hows that for brutal honesty)

Something that really helped me see how false my A relationship was, was really asking myself, if I were to be single now, is that who I would have chosen to be in a relationship with...the answer for me was...NO WAY NOT IN ONE MILLION YEARS!!!And this was a guy that I had dated off and on for 9 years when I was single-I should have known this already! I read an article about how people always "affair-down", and boy was this ever the case for me...I'm not just saying this to be politically correct by MB principles, but my affair partner was not even in the race with my H...bizarre how deluded we become in affairs, huh?
Something my H said to me also was instrumental in clearing my Fog...He talked about all of the history that I would have been losing if we weren't together anymore...major stuff, of course, but just little day to day stuff too...there would no longer be anyone that "knew me when" so to speak...do you guys get that?
That's what I have for now...

Puts me in a size 8 or 9 and I can wear a bikini and look good (not small boned - but sporty looking at that weight...

Hey me too! I weight 160 now and am only 5'4ish and small boned. I want to lose 20 lbs eventually. I think my health will be better as well as my self esteem.
Mrs. W, I had a similar experience thinking would I want OM to raise my children and it was a resounding NO! Plus he had such a bad temper and was highly jealous I could not stand that for very long.

Hey Ladies, What's the action plan on this...I'm game...I just had a tummy tuck in July 05, now I'd just like the rest of me to match!!! I must say that the two of you are brave, I personally haven't been on a scale in YEARS...I really don't care what the scale says, just the size that I'm wearing matters...I'm a size 10 now and I'm 5'6", I'd really love to be a size 6 again(pre-baby size-keep in mind my baby is 6 years old!!!)
